  • Tracey - “Can anyone help me?????? I am trying to locate some parts for a Micron 50FF. I need part number 230485 x 2, 230484 x 3, 458115 x 1.
I would be very grateful if anyone can help as I am having terrible trouble.”

  • admin - “Hi Tracey

Martin, our Assistant Spares Business Manager has looked into this for me.

Apparently we currently have both 230485 and 458115 in stock – we’re still checking availability for the 230484. As this is the case, any reputable spares stockist should be able to order from us if they don’t have it available already.

Try Plumb Center or Parts Center – I’ll keep looking into 230484 and let you know when I have more information. I hope this is helpful.

    Thanks

    Sally”

  • Craig - “I have had 4 pressure relief valves fitted this year and they all leak
M y boiler is niosy as i have to top up the system thus causing mineral deposits.
I have Sentinal noise reducer in system and this has helped but new prv still drips
I can not stand any more THICK PLUMBERS scratching their heads and saying
“Well i just don`t understand it” and buggering off with my money and leaving things the same.
    Any advice ANYONE.”

  • admin - “Hi Craig

Just wanted to let you know that I am looking at this for you – I have asked someone in the team who specialises in relief valves to get back to me and will be in touch soon.

Ben – following on from our conversation, I can confirm that our latest survey revealed that the average caller waits30 seconds, though this is less during our off peak season. We’re always striving to reduce this time, and I hope that your experiences are not indicative of the experiences felt by everyone.

We handle an an average of 100,000 calls per month and have made considerable improvements in call handling to improve speed of answer and various other factors.

If you have any suggestions or further comments on how we may improve this further still I’d be delighted to hear.

    Thanks, Sally”

  • Darren - “Any joy on the 230484? I need 4”

  • admin - “Hi Craig

Apologies to coming back to you so late in the week – I’ve relayed your problems as best I can to our technical team.

We’d advise you to contact a Glow-worm approved installer (see the postcode search on our website for the nearest one to you). They are obviously very familiar with our products – whilst we recognise that there are other excellent plumbers available outside of this list, it is the only way we can guarantee you get the excellent service you deserve.

If you call someone from this list and still have problems get in touch with me again and I’ll make sure this is looked at personally.

    I hope that is useful,
    Sally”
